Careful removal of foundation walls, beams & concrete steps
Having two diggers and their own dedicated demolition attachments, plus a wide variety of concrete sawing and handheld demolition tools such as electric breakers.
The ability to use them to their best advantage means we are able to tackle a wider range of concrete demolition and removal jobs than other contractors.
Where power is required the diggers can,usually get to the site to either break up, or lever up or out foundation walls. Alternatively, Able Contractors can utilize concrete sawing for precision; small scale works or for a final clean finish for builders to work from.
The major problem with these structures is that they can be difficult to get at, and involve thick and deep concrete with usually plenty of reinforcing steel. Reinforcing steel in these circumstances poses quite a problem in allowing the separation of concrete sections.
As concrete cutting by its very nature, cuts both steel and concrete this process speeds up the separation of sections of concrete, which otherwise would require the additional time consuming use of bolt cutters or grinders.
Single phase powered hydraulic crushers are used to crush concrete walls, smaller beams and occasionally, steps on sites where it is not practical to use a digger.
For thick concrete beams etc it is often more practical to use hydraulic bursters, which are typically smaller and thus more portable and more powerful than diggers.
